Who We Are
our mission
Gathered Services was born from a simple frustration: watching talented professionals and overwhelmed business owners struggle to find each other in a sea of online marketplaces.
Too often, small business owners waste time and money on providers who overpromise and underdeliver, while skilled professionals who genuinely care about their craft get lost in the noise. We saw an opportunity to solve both problems by creating a space where quality and character are pre-vetted, so business owners can hire with confidence and professionals can build their businesses with integrity.
We believe that small businesses deserve access to exceptional professionals without the guesswork, and talented service providers deserve to be recognized for the quality work they deliver.
Every professional in our directory has been carefully vetted not just for skill, but for character, communication, and commitment to serving their clients well. This is the professional network we wished had existed all along.
Meet Abigale Wurschmidt
Founder
With 18 years of business experience spanning graphic design, social media management, marketing leadership, and executive roles up to Chief Marketing Officer, Abigale understands both sides of the hiring equation: what it takes to deliver exceptional work and what small business owners desperately need when searching for help.
Gathered Services was born from Abigale's own frustration watching talented professionals and overwhelmed business owners struggle to find each other. Too often, small business owners waste time and money on providers who overpromise and underdeliver, while skilled professionals who genuinely care about their craft get lost in the noise of online marketplaces. Abigale saw an opportunity to solve both problems by creating a space where quality and character are pre-vetted, so business owners can hire with confidence and professionals can build their businesses with integrity.
Before launching Gathered Services, Abigale built her career from early side hustles in website and invitation design, teaching herself the skills that would eventually lead to executive marketing roles. Along the way, she designed websites for nonprofits, gyms, and product-based businesses, managed social media campaigns, generated marketing materials, and provided administrative and financial support for ministries. Her goal has always been the same: to make companies look good.
After resigning from her CMO position to homeschool her four children, she channeled her gift for connecting people and her eye for quality into building the professional network she wished had existed all along.
